41. Can the PIN code be changed?

It is possible to change the PIN code by calling customer service.

42. If I changed my mobile phone number, what should I do?

Go to the nearest agent to update your wallet information.

43. What do I do if I accidently deleted the application?

If you did not change your mobile phone, you can re-download the application, You will be asked to enter the mobile phone number and the PIN code composed of 4 digits so you can use your wallet with the same balance and details as before.

44. Is it possible to use the Jawwal Pay wallet account in case the mobile number to which it is connected is partly or totally disconnected?

It is always better that the phone number with which the wallet is affiliated is always active. Transactions and operations that take place through the Jawwal Pay wallet require a phone number that receives SMSs as notices or conformations of transactions taking place, sending the transaction number, or sending a temporary password (OTP).

45. Can the wallet be used from outside Palestine?

Yes. This is possible through the Jawwal Pay wallet application on the mobile phone. Transfer of funds and payment of bills can be done as long as the conditions for opening an electronic wallet account conditions are fulfilled.

46. Is it possible for me to close my Jawwal Pay wallet account? How?

Yes, you can close the wallet account by going to an authorized agent and submitting an application for cancelling the wallet account and completing the procedures required.

47. What are the Jawwal Pay Mastercard cards for online shopping?

These are prepaid MasterCard cards through which you can shop online from all websites and applications all over the world where MasterCard is accepted. Card denominations are:

  • $25 issue price $32

  • $50 issue price $62

  • $100 issue price $120

  • $200 issue price $230

48. What is the card validity?

One year. The card is valid until the expiry date mentioned on the card or when the card balance is fully used.  

49. iTunes Card does not work, what to do?

The problems with these cards lie in the fact that the country registered in the user’s account differs from the country of the card.

To find out the country in the subscriber's account, follow these steps:

  • From your iphone, choose Settings
  • Click on the account name
  • Access your Apple ID, then select the country
  • Choose the required country and accept the terms and conditions
  • In the event of a country amendment, you must wait 24 hours before trying the card
50. Google Play Card does not work, what to do?

The problem of Google Play cards is that the country registered in the user’s account differs from the country of the card (currently available Google Play cards are US and the account country must be American).

To find out the country in the subscriber's account, follow these steps:

  • From the phone, choode Google Play Store
  • Click menu
  • Click on Account
  • Go to the list of countries
  • You will see two countires: The first one is the account country, and the second is the country in which the subscriber appears to be currently residing. In order for the card to work, the two countries must be the same and also the same for the card country (in US cards, the two countries must be US)

In the event of a country amendment, you must wait 24 hours before trying the card.
